Funnel Reports

Next to our standard status changes reports, we also offer a status funnel report. Here, you can not only see how many procedures or vacancies are currently in a certain status, but also how often one status converts to another. This way you can set up a conversion pipeline for your procedures and your vacancies. We will show you this conversion in both numbers as well as percentages of conversion between different stages.

For a funnel report to work, you need to have the standard report settings active, which you can find in the Reports article. For funnel specific reports there are no extra settings.

Configuration

Funnel reports follow the same standard configuration as every other report when it comes to setting up and selecting consultants and dates, but work a bit differently in how they appear. As a refresher, we’ve added the ‘standard report setup’ reminder below. Do note that some options described here might not be available in the funnel reports. This is not a bug, but these options (such as view period) are not compatible with this type of report.

If you don’t have a dedicated report group yet where you would like to add this funnel report, you can add a new group in the following way:

  1. Go to the reports module and click ‘New report group’, top right

  2. Give your group a name in ‘Title’

  3. Select the ‘Linked Tables’. This will determine the tables you can use in the pages you add to your group. It is possible to change these tables later if needed.

  4. Click ‘Save’.

To set up a funnel report, we will follow the standard steps:

  1. In your report group, make sure you have the linked table vacancy selected

  2. Make a new report page with a custom title

  3. In linked tables, select vacancy

  4. In module, select the funnel type you want to use (procedure status or vacancy status)

  5. Now, click ‘show more’ underneath the title of the report

  6. Here, you can click the Funnel stages button. A modal will open for you to configure your different stages.

    1. Fill out a custom name for your stage. This could be ‘interviews’ if you have 3 different interview procedure statuses, but want to select all of them

    2. Select 1 or more statuses on which you wish to report

    3. You can set the colour of each stage yourself by using our colour picker or predefined hexcodes

    4. You can add a new stage by clicking ‘Add new stage’ at the bottom of your report

    5. Make sure to save the modal

  7. After you’ve saved your set up, you can select a period over which you want to show this funnel

  8. Make sure to save your report before closing or navigating out of this report page on the same tab

Congratulations! You’ve just set up your very own funnel report. Here, you can see how many vacancies or procedures have been set to a particular (or more, if you selected multiple) in the same period, as well as how many converted to the next status. We show you both numbers, as well as a conversion percentage between one stage and the one above it.

As always, you can display this report on your dashboard. Simply load in a new dashboard reports module, and select the title of this report.
