AI Assistant

One of our very first additions of AI to OTYS Go! was our AI assistant. This assistant can help you in writing and formatting your text in Go!. This can be very helpful when writing vacancy descriptions or drafting different versions of the same vacancy.

How to open the AI assistant

The AI assistant is turned on for every user in Go! from the moment you can access your account. This feature itself is free, but does work on Credits. Every Go! environment is granted a certain number of credits. To use the AI assistant, open any widget that has text editor, such as a job description widget. We’ll take this widget as an example for this article.

First, click on the ‘‘OTYS AI Assistant’’ button in the editor. This button looks like all OTYS AI features do. 3 sparkles, one larger than the other. It will be at the end of your formatting ribbon. We’ve outlined this button in the image below.

From here, the OTYS AI assistant will open as a modal over top of your screen. You can see how many credits you’ve used, how many credits you have, and which text you’re working on as well as all the standard options we offer. In the image below we’ve highlighted the credits section of this screen. If you’ve run out of credits you can start a support ticket to start the process of purchasing more.

AI prompts

In the OTYS AI Assistant we offer 3 quick and easy pre-written prompt buttons, as well as the option to create your own AI command. These 3 standard options are ones we’ve created to help you quickly alter your text by using AI. Good to know: If you’re not entirely pleased with the result and decide to go for a different option you can simply press the “Re-generate” option. You don’t have to close the editor and start over. If you want to do multiple AI actions in one go, you can use the black ‘‘← Replace source text” arrow. This way your generated text becomes your source text, and you can easily use any secondary prompts without having to close the editor.

Translate

We offer 13 languages for translation by using the AI assistant. Czech, German, English, Spanish, French, Dutch, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Turkish, Ukrainian, and American English. If you wish to translate your text into a different language you can use the “OTYS AI Assistant’’ custom prompt button. We will revisit this in a later chapter in this article.
Once you’ve selected a language you can click ‘Generate’. When you do, the AI Assistant will start generating your text in this language on the right side of the screen. Once it finishes you can make changes in the right panel, such as formatting, and you can check if the translation is correct. When you’re happy with your results, click ‘Save’, and the AI Assistant will replace your original text with your newly generated text.

Beautify

To help you format your text, we offer a ‘Beautify’ functionality. Here you can choose your tone (Formal or Informal), and a style. The styles range from Professional to Humorous, and can help you alter your existing text for different platforms. If you want a second version of the same vacancy on a social media platform you might want to change your tone from serious and professional to informal and lighthearted. The OTYS AI assistant will help you with this. Once you’ve selected your tone and your style, you can click “Generate’’. The AI assistant will start applying your new style on the right side of the screen. Once it finishes you can make changes in the right panel, such as formatting, or choice of words. If you’re happy with the results you can click “Save”, and the AI Assistant will replace your original text with your newly generated text.

Summary

You might have written or received a very long job description that you wish to whittle down to something that’s easier to scan for someone who’s just briefly reading everything. Or, perhaps you’ve written an entire job description, but you need to provide meta text for search engines or SEO. Using the “Summary” functionality you can easily shorten your text to a desired amount of words whilst keeping the same style and language. If you’re not happy with your summary, you can always click “Re-generate”.  If you’re happy with the results you can click “Save”, and the AI Assistant will replace your original text with your newly generated text.

OTYS AI Assistant

Perhaps the 3 options we’ve given you to quickly and easily alter your text are not exactly what you need. Or perhaps you want to ask our AI Assistant to optimize your text for SEO or for a certain target audience. To help you achieve this without needing to go to an external AI tool we’ve added the ‘‘OTYS AI Assistant” option, which lets you create your own AI command. Simply type in what you wish for our AI Assistant to do with your text and click “Generate”. Form here you can change your prompt to fit your needs, or replace the original source text with the newly generated text by clicking the black ‘‘← Replace source text” arrow. You can then fill out a new prompt, and keep going until you’re happy with your results.
